Magazines have articles you can curl up with and lose yourself in, and luscious photography that draws the eye. And they’re so easy and enjoyable to read. Can we marry what’s best about magazines with the always connected, portable tablet e-readers sure to arrive in 2010?
This conceptual video is a corporate collaborative research project initiated by Bonnier R&D into the experience of reading magazines on handheld digital devices. It illustrates one possible vision for digital magazines in the near future, presented by our design partners at BERG.

Shepard Fairey,of Obey Giant fame, has created the official artwork for the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards. The poster brings together traditional GRAMMY iconography and Fairey’s unique approach to design, to produce a poster for the music event. The 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards program book, telecast tickets, promotional poster and 2010 GRAMMY Nominees CD features the prominent style Fairey developed for the poster.

The new Stoli Vodka Advertising Campaign. I find it amazing that a language’s character set (improvised) can become an aesthetic. And on top of that the syntax is still easily read as english.

These look promising, they wouldn’t replace my Field Notes, but definitely would make a great addition. A book for storyboards and a book for notes. I’m yet to purchase, but they are going on my christmas list for sure.

Null is chaired by Mr. Kawakami artless design of the project “null ™”.Current 15 that participated. Pronunciation is “null” and pronounced “no nothing” or “empty” means that the programming language. When the Japanese “paint” and “comprising” and the sound and meaning of, “” – = + “” make a minimalist graphical representation.

Born in Israel in 1973, Noma Bar studied graphic design and typography at the Jerusalem Academy of Art & Design. He has been based in London since 2001. In 2003, Bar received his first national magazine commission from Time Out London, and since then he has worked for an array of media clients, including the BBC, Random House, The Observer, The Economist and Wallpaper.
